The Thrift Store

The Center’s Thrift Store offers a wide assortment of lightly used clothing for customers of all ages.  Many other items including housewares, furniture, books and children’s toys may also be found.  One component of the Store, named after a previous volunteer, is the Shirley Shop where shoppers can find a wide variety of household items including collectibles.

The Thrift Store generates essential income that is critically important for making specific food purchases that are needed to operate the Center’s Food Pantry.

The Center also frequently assists local citizens who are facing difficult circumstances and are unable to obtain basic living needs.  In such cases, we are able to offer free vouchers for the Thrift Store so they may obtain clothing and other essential items.

We thank the many local citizens who donate items to the Store as well as the many volunteers who organize, sort and display the items.
